Although St. Raymond Construction is a young company we are highly experienced and our qualified professional team have been working within construction and finance for over 150 years (combined experience). This is why St. Raymond Construction is recognised as being a honest and trustworthy company to work with and alongside.
As part of our ethos we invest a great deal of time in keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible. To assist with this we use local trades and artisans in all instances where possible at each of our sites. The average age of our workforce is 50 thus making our team highly qualified across all trades. Our team and external suppliers are very committed and all share the same common objects, aims and values for every project we deliver.

MEL MAYNE

Company Director
Mel’s background is in corporate and development finance. He has led large multi discipliary teams throughout his career. His ethos is very much about working in partnership with clients and embracing strong moral principles.
Mel works with major financing houses in developing sustainable business practices, managing finance and budgets and liasing with his team and other contractors. He takes a disciplined and practival approach to development with vast expereience in bringing projects to futition.

Chris has fourty years experience in construction for commercial and residential. From large logistic centres for Ftse100 companies, social housing developments through to high end individual homes across the midlands and the M25.
PHILIP HUNTLEY

Project Manager
Philip has an impresive 35 years experience working with major housing developers across the south and east midlands managing between 5/6 seperate developments as project manager. Philip also worked as senior project manager for some of the UK’s largest property companies redeveloping commercial and residential sites.
Philip has won numerous professional awards for his work and is very detailed orientated and takes great pride in his work. His multi disciplined skills help to bring different trades together to complete projects on time and budget .
DAVID WHEATLEY

Quantity Surveyor
David is currently on permanent secondment to St Raymonds Construction for two days per week. He is a member of RICS and is a quantity surveyor and a specialist in party wall disputes and dispute resolution. He has 35 years experience working around the country on both commercial and residential developments.
